Welcome to Millet Valley,

the homeland of some weird and colorful dinosaurs! A small valley where every plant that grows is millet... even the trees! Talk to the dinos, find out what happened and try to go back to your dimension!

with a total of 10 exciting houses with puzzles, items, people and more! Discover a library, an aquarium, a little garden with a shop, a laboratory... And a secret cave under the village?

About this project

This is a personal project and is not available for download (never meant to be) because it contains private information and a lot of copyrighted assets (images, music, models, etc).

This game was developed in two months and has a gameplay lenght of +2h. It has a wide variety of mechanics implemented by myself:

  • Equipment system with multiple tools you can switch to:
    • Rubber-duck gun that can trigger targets
    • Waypoint gun to put visual waypoints and interact with color-based puzzles
    • Tool that stops time to perform time-based and color-based puzzles
    • Other non-interactable objects
  • Interaction system depending on what you are looking/holding:
    • Talk to people
    • Teleport between rooms when interacting with a door
    • Other specific object interactions
  • Puzzles!
    • Buttons, platforms, color-based switches...
  • Little side-quests
  • 8 collectable easter eggs
  • First player controller (FPS) playable with keyboard & mouse / game controller
  • Other small mechanics
    • TV with some channels (videos)
    • Special sound/visual effects underwater

Other mechanics such as the dialog system or the majority of the assets have been taken from the internet or other sources.

The game has many references to other games/media (mechanics, events, etc) such as JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Outer Wilds, Undertale, Metal Gear...
